Air Pollution

Air is essential for our existence but it is being polluted in many ways today.Smoke is the main culprit for polluting the air.We produce smoke in various ways.We make fire for cooking, making bricks and burning refuse which create smoke.Pitch is melted for road construction.Railway engines and power houses use coal and oil and create smoke.Mills and factories use coal, oil and chemicals.Buses, cars and trucks use petrol and diesel.All these works create smoke and thus pollute the air.Serious air pollution occurs in big industrial areas and big cities because there are many mills and factories and motor vehicles.By taking in polluted air we suffer from various diseases.Even many people die of respiratory diseases from this pollution every year.
