Yet neither our people hene government are aware of the gravity of its loss.Rapid and unplanned urbanisation as well as clustered highrise buildin nor the Bangladeings are being made recklessly.The frequent repetition of small to middle scale earthquakes in uadesh is the special reason for giving more attention to the issue by the experts.A moderately large scale earthquake will smash the whole country within a few minutes.In no time we should take precautionary measures Th e construction of tall buildings must be banned.All the structures including bridges and flyovers should be quae resistant. Planned urbanisation along with soil test is a must.People are to be informed of the safety measures during an earthquake.There must be trained rescue workers.An efficient post disaster management sh ould be ensured.There should be a master plan about what to be done during a serious earthquake in the country.People should be made aware of the doings during the time of an earthquake.The government should form an earthquake management and control office division so that the matter of earthquake becomes panic-free to every person in the country.
