English is án international language.It is the native-language of English speaking countries like the UK, the USA Ireland, Australia, New Zeland, Canada and Scotland and the second language of many other countries of the world.It is also used as a foreign language in different countries of the world.Thus it is the international language in which billions of people belonging to different mother tongues can express themselves as their respective languagcs are of no use when they get together or communicate with one another.This is the reason why English is called an international language.Alike other non-English speaking nations, we should learn English; as it is the only medium of exchanging thoughts and ideas, operating trade and commerce, diplomacy, learning and earning oreign currencies and so on.All books of higher studies are written in English.In case of internet, the language is English.In the field of science and technology including engineering and medical science, English has no Iternative.To live well in this global village or in the age of globalization, we must learn English or as a nation we will fall behind.
