A library is the part and parcel of a school.A library is called the storehouse of knowledge.It contains books on different subjects and tastes.A school library contains books suitable for the young learners.There remains a calm and quiet environment in a school library.An assistant teacher is appointed as the librarian.A bearer helps him.In Bangladesh few schools have libraries.A school library is very essential for both the students and teachers Students can visit school library off and on and study there.They can find different types of books of different branches of knowledge in a school library. They can also borrow books from the school library.So, a school library plays a vital role in spreading the light of education.Generally, a school library is located beside the office room.The place where the school library is located should be calm and quiet and free from noise. In a library books are arranged in a systemetic way that the learners can casily get any book they need.The books are arranged subjectwise. Every book has a number.The books are issued for the students on the basis of a routine.A student can borrow books twice a week.They have to show the library card before they take books.I feel proud of my school library because it contains a good number of books on various subjects.As a school library plays a very important role in any school, every school should have a school library.
